Claudette is an intergenerational circus show that combines juggling and puppetry.

Claudette is a tribute to old age, a tribute to wrinkles filled with wisdom and experience.
Through juggling and puppetry, Claudette tells the story of an elderly woman rebelling against her loneliness. Accompanied by her grandson, this tender and dreamy grandmother, tired of eating soup all day, wants to feel alive again… For her 90th birthday!

Cie Balancetoi & Maleta Company

The Balancetoi Company is a Belgian circus and theater company founded in 2016. It is the result of the meeting between Sara Martínez, Charlotte Cornet, and Valentin Stalins, who, after training at the International Circus School of Granada (Spain), found themselves in Brussels. The company’s name, originally spelled “Bah, lance-toi!” (roughly “Go for it!”), draws inspiration from the three artists’ backgrounds: after pursuing relatively traditional careers (as a teacher, lawyer, and management engineer), they decided to embark on the exciting adventure of artistic creation.

Since 2016, the Maleta company has been creating shows based on juggling, with the conviction that juggling is a language. Founded by Alex Allison in 2014, it serves as a platform for collaborations that enable it to carry out projects with various partner companies and artists.
