About us

HOPLA! is a free contemporary circus festival in Brussels, held in public spaces since 2007 and open to audiences of all ages.

HOPLA! is a poetic invitation to discover contemporary circus in the public spaces of the City of Brussels. Free and open to all, the festival builds connections between artists, audiences, and the city. A creative sector in full swing, the circus offers a richness that resonates well with the reality of Brussels. Welcoming and family-friendly, it brings people together, breaking down barriers between genres, generations, and social divides. It encourages pushing one’s limits, wonder, respect for others, and curiosity.
